*Note: As we progress along the step by step process of establishing ourselves as a Nonprofit Organization, we apply for and pay the required state and federal fees. This is a grass roots effort and this process is taking some time. In the interests of transparency and full disclosure we would like to draw your attention to the fact that although "PayPal" is set up and we are taking donations, they are not tax deductible yet. Hold on to your receipts however, the will retroactively apply once we become a 501 (c) (3)  Those licenses and sanctions will be posted on the web site at that time.

**A special thank you to all the wonderful volunteers who have given of themselves with their good thoughts, their time, and their energies in getting us up and going this far. This really is, "Community At Its Best!"

HEN
*A donation of $100 enables a family to obtain a milk goat. Because goats thrive in extreme climates where other livestock can't, eat grasses and weeds that other grazing animals can't, and one struggling family can receive up to a gallon of milk from it every single day, they make the perfect rural family asset! That's more than enough milk to not only drink, but to use to make cheese, butter, or yogurt, plus to sell what ever is left for extra family income.

HEN
*A gift of $60 awards a family with a gift certificate to a local hardware store, providing the materials to build a chicken coop, rabbit hutch, or raised garden bed. This gift certificate can also be used to purchase seeds and starter plants for their vegetable garden.

HEN
*A donation of $50 provides a family with a starter herd of three rabbits, a buck and two does. For a family with limited resources a small heard will yield amazing results. Families all over the country are raising rabbits in their back yards, on the porch, even in the kitchen! So long as they are warm and dry, rabbits thrive, and they love to eat leftover vegetables. In return, their herd provides them with nitrogen-rich manure to use on gardens or to sell as fertilizer. And since rabbits have up to 40 offspring a year, they provide families with a steady sources of protein and income.

HEN
*A donation of $25 will set a family up with three chickens. Beginning at approximately six months of age, a hen can lay up to 200 eggs a year, which in turn is a reliable source of protein for children. Extra eggs can be sold to pay for school clothes, shoes and medicine. And in the vegetable garden, chickens peck at bugs and weeds, scratch up the soil and enrich it with droppings, adding nutrient rich vegetables to the families table.

*A donation of $25 dollars will pay for a families "Krafters Korner" shop for one year, allowing them an extra source of income to support their homestead.

*All Donations Are Nonrefundable*
